CCounselling is about you – your goals, your struggles and the impact that they will have in your life. It can be overwhelming when you or your child lives in sadness, self-doubt or fear. You may feel like you have tried everything and just do not know what to do anymore. Perhaps you experience thoughts such as, “I just don’t know what to do anymore. I want life to be better/different.” The counselling process is one in which you choose the goals and the area of your life you desire to change. Change can sometimes be a scary process, but together we will walk through life’s challenges and find a way to decrease and manage them.
I desire to help you through that process to find resilience that you did not know you had as a child, youth or parent. I know that you can take your difficult circumstances and find the courage and strength to see beyond the present and look towards your future. I will walk along side of you and support you as you journey through this time in your life.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University. I am registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and am designated as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). I have worked with children, youth and parents for almost 10 years. I specialize in anxiety and parenting concerns.
