MA, RCC
First and foremost, I want you to know that whatever journey you are on, wherever you are in life, and whatever brings you into my office, you are welcome. It is my immense privilege to be with you in this space. I have had a long-standing passion for relational connection and firmly believe that relationships offer a unique healing space. I recognize the weight many of us carry because of the challenges we face from our personal lived experiences or upbringing. Therefore, in my therapeutic space, I strive to cultivate a relationship that is secure, safe, and built on trust. I am driven by the value of love to foster a place that is rich in understanding, exploration, growth, creativity, and expression. I believe that we are the authors of our own stories, and that meaning can be found even in life’s most difficult chapters. Therefore, with curiosity and care, I hope to walk alongside my clients to explore their stories, honouring the nuanced and complex layers that shape their experiences, and gently supporting them in reclaiming agency to rewrite their narratives. I believe by reconnecting with themselves and their communities, we can repair relational wounds and step forward with greater confidence and autonomy.
As for my clinical experience and background, I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, with a Master of Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Counselling from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (2020). I have worked with families, children and youth, couples, young adults, and adults. My clinical experience has predominantly focused on work with the family system, working with clients both individually and in conjunction with their families in exploring sociocultural factors, intergenerational patterns, complex trauma, and how our past attachment experiences shape our present.
From a clinical lens, I work from a client-centered, attachment theory-driven practice. However, the scope of my clinical training includes Trauma-Informed Practice (level 1 & 2), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, basic EMDR (Eye-movement desensitization reprocessing), OEI (Observed Experiential Integration, level 1), Foundations of Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Early Psychosis Intervention Therapy, and training in Assessing Substance Use (level 1). Additionally, I continuously and extensively educate myself on IFS Therapy (Internal Family Systems) because I believe humans are complex and multifaceted, with a wide array of experiences and encounters that have shaped how we see, understand, and respond to ourselves, our communities, and our environment.
Hence, my specific clinical interests include working with clients who have experienced or faced intergenerational, complex, vicarious, or childhood trauma. I value exploring the impact of family narratives, shame, perfectionism, identity & self-worth issues, attachment patterns, and relationship issues. However, throughout my clinical experience, I have worked extensively with suicide, self-harm, addiction challenges, abuse, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, cultural issues, personal growth challenges, and finding meaning. I recognize that these challenges are not isolated incidents and that clients can encounter a range of experiences. Therefore, it is my hope and desire to journey with you in healing, destigmatizing, normalizing, and rewriting your narrative to support you in finding fulfillment in your life and in reharnessing your inner resilience.
