The first thing you should know about me is that I create a safe and welcoming space for my clients to explore their unique needs and preferences. I believe in empowering individuals to choose the type of care they desire while also offering my insights on the best therapeutic approaches tailored to their specific circumstances.
Collaboration is at the heart of my practice; together, we build personalized treatment plans that address not just the physical aspects of well-being but also emotional and mental health. My goal is to ensure that every client feels heard, understood, and supported on their journey towards healing and relaxation.
I look forward to working with you to discover the best path to your wellness!
Credentials & Experience
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Gerontology from Simon Fraser University, where I built a solid understanding of human movement and aging. I spent nearly a year working alongside a physiotherapist as a kinesiologist, which gave me great insights into rehabilitation and patient care.
Over the past decade, I've had the pleasure of working one-on-one with people to help them reach their health and wellness goals, always customizing my approach to fit their unique needs. Recently, I expanded my skill set by attending the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, which has further enriched my ability to provide well-rounded care that supports overall well-being.
With my blend of academic knowledge and hands-on experience, I aim to offer a personalized approach to health, empowering my clients on their journey to wellness.
Professional Interests
When it comes to my career, narrowing down a specific area of interest has been quite the challenge—everything I encounter feels interesting and exciting! However, one technique that consistently stands out to me is myofascial work. I’ve found that this gentler approach creates a unique type of tension that allows the tissue to adapt to change surprisingly quickly. It’s fascinating to see how, through this gradual method, clients often experience significant results. The potential for improvement in overall well-being keeps me eager to explore this technique further in my practice.
Other services:
The other services I offer are tailored to individuals experiencing specific changes in their bodies. This broad scope encompasses those who are expecting a healthy baby, individuals dealing with tension in their neck and shoulders, and people experiencing chronic low back pain or difficulty moving as they once did. It also includes support for those overcoming emotional or physical trauma, as well as navigating the changes associated with aging. Change can be challenging, and I strive to provide the best support possible, helping individuals feel comfortable again.
